Hello Church Family!!!
Where did summer go??? This is wool sock weather!!!
Nonetheless, 86 people turned out last Sunday for our Fun Run/Walk. And yes, Tena did the 5K; she is calling her 10K. Everyone had a great time and asked that we do it again next year. No doubt we will. Nice attendance from the community!
Tomorrow is communion Sabbath! The service will come primarily from Psalm 103. How do you “bless” God? Hint: you can’t! You can only be what He wishes to make you to be! There is no greater “blessing” we can give Him!
Sunday is week two of our 2013 Health Expo, “Life on the Sunnyside.” We will be doing something we have never done before. We will run a health clinic for our members and for all in the community who wish to join us. This will not be a “light” health checkup. It will be the real thing! If you have not, register at www.SunnysideAdventist.org. If you wake up Sunday morning and have a “oh yes, I was going to register for the health checkup, well, just come anyway, but it would be best to select a time if you can. And, there is a great separate program for kids (not “light” either). The overall program runs from 12:00-4:00. See you there! (And a special thanks to all of the volunteers who are making this happen—and to Adventist Medical Center for all of their additional support.)
Bring on Sabbath!
