Our church family has had some noteworthy occasions. Last weekend Alex Buchanan came to church for the first time since his accident. It was wonderful to see him. Barbara Wyndham took leave of us. She has moved to Estacada. The Baehms celebrated their 50th Anniversary. The Oregon Adventist Men’s Chorus shared wonderful music in our worship service and the concert in the evening with the Brethren was packed. PACS had their awards dinner and John Korb was the recipient of the Barbara Nelson award for his selfless service to PACS and to our community. I know there are a number of Sunnysiders that volunteer there. Thank you for your service to our community. There were about 50 people who returned to the “Know Your Numbers Seminar” given by Don Hall.
Starting at 6:30 pm this Friday, October 11, Dr Hall will be presenting:
Living Well & Enemies of Longevity.
What are the leading causes of early mortality?
What steps can you take to prevent disease?
Come and find out! You will be fascinated by what Dr. Don shares. The information is fresh and well researched. You won’t want to miss it. Invite your friends, family and your neighbors. Postcards were also mailed to our neighborhood.
Of course while the adults are having fun learning the children will too… your boys and girls are invited to Heroes, Health and Happiness. This is where the action is! This is where the energy is! This is where good habits are learned and Jesus is the Hero.
We look forward to Pastor Jonathan’s message this Sabbath and a baptism of one of our young people. The Lord is good!
Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life. You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.
We look forward to the many blessings the Lord has in store for us today.
Grace mercy peace
