July 26 Communiqué

Don’t miss other Announcements  &  Week At a Glance in the Church Bulletin (Click here )

Happy July!!!

Enjoy July while it is here!  The way the last few days have felt, let’s hope summer is not over.  I would not want our snowbirds to take an early exit.  Oh, we do have promises of warmer weather returning!

Camp meeting is over and a great time with God’s people it was.  Great messages with great music, and, Sunnyside was well represented.  Our young adults were terrific on Friday night; we can be so proud of them.  Then, on Sabbath, our stings, brass, and new men’s choir really sounded a rally call to praise the Lord.  Our appreciation also goes to Dick Fenn and Bob Manley for leading out on the home front while so many of us were gone.

Have you all heard that this week we have to report the passing of Leland Friend and Trish Wagner?  Our prayers are with the family members at a time of such loss.  Trish had requested that there be no memorial service for her and we have not heard anything definitive from the Friend family.

Sabbath is coming and our theme will be “Loved by Grace.”  From prison, Paul wrote Galatians, Ephesians, Colossians, and Philippians.  Each book is unique while at the same time together they have common themes.  Paul knows that for him “time departure” had come and the members would “no longer see his face.”  He has a great concern over what is going to happen to these churches with so many new members trying to weather the storms against so many foes.  There would be one thing that would keep the church safe?  It is also the number one danger that still stands to destroy God’s Church.  What was it?  It might surprise you!  See you Sabbath.

Church Announcements

This is the time of year new church officers begin their work. We would like to take this time to remind you that if you no longer hold an office and are in possession of a church key, please turn it in so we can use it for others. Also, when sending emails to your group, taking minutes, or scheduling meetings, please include the Office Administrator in your communications.

Our monthly fellowship potluck will be next week. Plan to attend and bring enough food for your family as well as extra to serve our guests. This is a great time to visit with friends and make new acquaintances.

Congratulations Pathfinders!

You’re financially ready to go to Oshkosh!
Good job on your fund raising events, and a special thank you to all of Sunnyside Church for helping our Pathfinders meet their goal.
Oshkosh will provide them with experiences beyond all expectations, and strengthen their relationship with God. Over 46,000 Pathfinders from over 100 countries are expected to come play, share, learn, and worship together.
