It has been a blessing, sharing the Week of Prayer with you. There is nothing quite like getting together with fellow brothers and sisters to pray. This Sabbath’s Week of Prayer reading featured an excerpt from Acts of the Apostles, tracing the development of the church and the many people whose experience of the gospel led them to devote their lives to sharing the good news with others. In her discourse, Ellen White stated that,
“There is nothing that the world needs so much as the manifestation through humanity of the Savior’s love.”
May that continue to be our mission. This world can be all consuming with both its pain and pleasure. I hope you can join me this Sabbath in taking time to pause, to wonder at the beauty that God has given us to enjoy now, to imagine the life that we have secure in God’s future chapter for this world, to experience anew God’s certain and complete love.
“By beholding, we are changed.”
